Thermal Shock Test Chambers

Subjecting samples to alternating extremes

The thermal shock test chambers are designed to subject samples to alternating extremes of high and low temperatures in order to observe changes in the product’s characteristics. They consist of two and three conditions (cold, hot and ambient).

It can be made in horizontal or vertical format, or even including more compartments according to the customer specifications.

The maximum temperature range in standard models is -60ºC and it can be reached at +180ºC. Its volume could be from 16 to 1000 litres.

Thermal shock chambers are mainly used in the aeronautical, electronics and railway sectors, among others. It is possible to use it as an independent chamber (furnace or thermal chamber).
